Empowered HR was established in 2017 by HR specialists Lorraine Sebastian and Carolyn Mitchell, who share an affinity for empowering business leaders and their teams. The values that drive Empowered HR are integral to who they are and how they do business.

Lorraine and Carolyn have worked together for over a decade in different corporate and freelance roles. Their combined experience spans multiple industries including recruitment, retail, engineering, medical research, not-for-profit, local government, pharmaceutical, legal, manufacturing, and telecommunications and IT.

Today, Empowered HR offers a wholistic HR solution. Lorraine confidently navigates the nuances and complexities of employment law and compliance and is skilled at establishing and restructuring HR teams. Carolyn has a talent for leadership development and training and is a passionate advocate for mindfulness in the workplace.
